Custom Order Policy

Placing an Advance Order

A full deposit is required for all custom cake orders.

  • Payment of the deposit is required to obtain a reservation on the calendar.

  • Availability to accept an order will be determined as of the day and time that the deposit is paid.

A specific date may not be reserved prior to finalizing the details for the order.​

  • Full payment must be completed 7 days prior to the due date. Failure to finalize your order and complete the deposit process on time may result in forfeiture of your reservation on the calendar. 

 

Changing an Order

  • Order changes which do not change the price or which increase the price, will be considered up to 8 days prior to the reservation date, provided that any increase in the required deposit amount is paid at the time of the change.

  • Rush changes for design ONLY will be considered if they are requested at least 3 days prior to the event. 

  • Changes to an order which result in a reduction in the price must be made 7 days prior to the reservation date. Any refund due to the Client will be paid by Naegelin’s on the reservation date or at the time of change.

  • Naegelin’s ability to accommodate Client change requests is dependent upon the number and complexity of all reservations booked on a particular date.

 

Canceling an Order

  • Cancellation requests must be made within 7 days or more before the reservation date.

 

This policy does not apply to those special event orders which are booked with our separate Wedding Cake Contract Form. For those orders, the terms of the contract will apply.
